Vitamin D - the Sunshine Vitamin

It’s lovely to see the sun again today. Unfortunately in the UK, sunlight doesn't contain enough UVB radiation in winter (October to early March) for our skin to be able to make vitamin D. Good sources to include in your diet are fatty fish (mackerel, salmon, sardines), eggs, mushrooms, some dairy. It’s more difficult to get in a vegan diet however some foods are fortified with Vitamin D.
